Ana Benaroya is an illustrator, artist, typographer, and designer; but above all, she is a decent human being. This is quite possibly her proudest accomplishment to date. She loves bright colors, hot sauce, muscular men and women, coffee, and food.
Ana was born in Queens, New York – but grew up in New Jersey where she currently lives since she finished a degree in illustration and art history at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.
Her work has been honored by The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and the PRINT Regional Design annual.
Some of her clients include: Lincoln Center, National Geographic, Panera, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg, Burton, Blue Q, Cinelli, MTV Argentina, NYLON, Wilco, Nickelodeon Magazine, WFMU, ABC News, Newsweek Poland, Fishs Eddy,It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Ralph Lauren, and Simon & Schuster.
I am very excited about the collaboration with Ana. Her work is fresh, full of life and provocative and I love it. Very proud our collaboration will support the Human Rights Campaign promoting same sex rights.”

About the collaboration with BYDFAULT:
I can personally relate to the struggles of not being equal under the law and of having one’s relationship be seen as not valid. What many people don’t realize is that not having the same marital rights is not just a question of “morality” – it leads to additional financial hardships. Thankfully with DOMA being repealed, some of these issues have been solved, but not all. Without an organization like HRC actively campaigning to change laws (which eventually leads to people changing their opinions) – I think the LGBT community wouldn’t be as far along as we are today.”
