Turning art into t-shirts design – Making of video

This is a short video to show the process of making t-shirts design based on art inspired by a cause. All BYDFAULT’s t-shirts design follow the same process. We talk with the artist about a cause they are supporting and ask them to create an artwork inspired by this cause. The result is then printed on high quality premium t-shirts.

The whole process of t-shirts design is not as simple as it may look:

We are very meticulous during the whole process. From choosing the artist to the manufacturer we buy our shirts from through all the suppliers involved in the creation of a t-shirt design available on our site. We also pay a lot of attention to details such as the hang tags describing what we do but also the artist who designed the t-shirt and the cause it supports. The printing of the shirt is also something we go through very meticulously so the result is as close to the originals as possible. Different printing techniques are used based on t-shirts design. Some will be 100% water based ink like the one in this video (printed in Seattle by www.raincitywest.com) while others will use multiple techniques such as the one with our brand on it (printed in Seattle by www.luxeriot.com).

We respect the artist’s vision and inspiration. With the Nonprofit organizations we work with we build partnerships, not just a check we send them over. We make sure our donation, your contribution is making an impact and a difference in helping someone have a better life. That’s why the organization is also associated in the t-shirts design process to ensure we meet their criteria and that the result is suitable and convey the message right.
